Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develops and designs courses and curriculum.
  • Edits and develops online learning materials.
  • Creates learning experiences and environments.
  • Designs learning activities, assignments, and assessments.
  • Creates computer-based training (CBT) modules and storyboards.
  • Ability to turn raw training content into visually appealing courses with level 3 interaction at
    minimum
  • Be able to source or produce high quality graphics, audio, visuals and integrate in the learning course
  • Creating Software Simulations using Adobe Captivate or Articulate
  • Assist in developing and updating training materials.
  • Work with various internal subject matter exports to translate written supervisory procedures
    into impactful e-learning content and deploy new courses
  • Collect feedback such as learner feedback, evaluations, learning assessments and instructor
    evaluations for course updates, delivery enhancements and new content development
  • Provide guidance and support to internal trainers on technical aspects of content creation and best practices.
  • Create game integration with scorm courses which are LMS Compliant.
  • Build and deploy eLearning and instructor-led courses within the LMS
  • Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product
  • Conduct instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts
  • Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods
  • Provide exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)
  • Decide on the criteria used to judge learners performance and develop assessment instruments
  • Maintain project documentation and course folders


Desired Candidate Profile

  • Expert proficiency in either Adobe Captivate or Articulate .360
  • Knowledge of instructional theory, including assessment
  • Understanding of course site design best practices
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey
    technical information to non-technical colleagues and clients
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous deadlines
  • Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology
  • Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
  • Lesson and curriculum planning skills
  • Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one Learning Management
    System
  • Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
  • Should have good communication skills
  • Abiliy to brainstorm, plan and implement solutions with the team.
