This position will be part of the QA team within Engineering services and is responsible for driving best practices for exploratory and automated testing within PEaaS in working with teams to deliver applications and solutions that meet the needs of our stakeholders. Therefore, a commitment to portray
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail, critical thinking, solid communication and proven leadership skills with the ability to lead to multiple test paths simultaneously is essential.
Responsibilities
Develop test plans and proactive test cases based on requirements.
Involvement in functional, smoke,regression, performance and security testing.
Defect management.
Write automated test scripts and execute tests to successfully validate the quality of
products.
Test environment setup.
Effective coordination with development and testing team.
Develop business and product knowledge over time and share such knowledge to mentor new team members. Follow Agile scrum practices.
API/Web Service testing using Postman
Skills
Knowledge and understanding of testing process and techniques.
Experienced in driving and executing all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) on client server application.
Hands on experience with test automation, performance and security testing techniques.
Ability to design and execute black box test scenarios.
Documentation skills like documentation of test plan, test cases, checklist, templates etc.
Familiarity with test management and defect management tools like Testlink and JIRA etc.
Exposure to various tools like Selenium webdriver, Appium, Postman and Jmeter is must.
Test environment setup - databases like MSSQL, MySQL, Oracle etc..,operating systems like Windows, Linux. IDE like Eclipse/ MyEclipse, Android studio etc.
Familiarity with various QA standards in the software industry.
Ability to construct and execute automated test scenarios.
Basic Java/J2EE knowledge.
Basic Android and ios app test knowledge.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
Work well in a team environment or individually, with a test to break attitude and ability
to think from the customer's point of view.
Passionate about delivering high quality user-friendly products in a timely fashion.
Good communication skills with both technical(Developers and QA) and non-technical (customers,management) people.
Required education: BE (CS, IT) and MCA
