Lead Engineer - Networks & Cyber Security

Role Summary: Essential Responsibilities:
Gather and analyze data and develop Network and Cyber Security architectural requirements
at project level.
Design field network architecture for Subsea Production Control Systems including topside and
Subsea network elements.
Work closely with policy and product management and cyber security team to align our
security measures with the industry.
Define, Develop and Execute test plan to fulfill on cyber security requirements.
Conduct threat model assessments on existing and new architectures.
Working independently and collaboratively with Global Partners.
Coach and mentor team members Qualifications/ Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science
8+ years of experience in the field of Design, Engineering and Software
5+ years of experience in Communication Networks configuration and Cyber security.
Experience in configuration and troubleshooting of various protocols like DHCP, RIP V2,
OSPF, STP, ICMP, UDP/ TCP, RSTP, SNMP, SFTP etc.,
Experience in application level protocols like MODBUS RTU, MODBUS TCP, OPC UA/ DA,
CANOpen, etc.,
Experience in configuration of VLANs, Fiber Optic links.
Experience with network security and vulnerability assessments, vulnerability discovery, threat
modeling, analysis and implementation of recommendations.
Experience with various security tools and products (Fortify, Nessus, nmap, Burp Suite,
Metasploit, etc)
Experience in testing tools like Wireshark, Kepware and Putty.
Experience in Visio and UMLs.
Knowledge on industry standards like RFC 2544, API 17F etc.,
Familiar with Agile and waterfall development methods.
Knowledge on source code management tools like SVN, GIT etc. Desired Characteristics:

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to influence others and lead small teams.
Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
Effective problem identification and solution skills. Proven analytical and organizational ability.
