Senior Software Engineer, Trimble Connect
We are looking for enthusiastic UI Specialists for a Senior Software Engineer position to join Trimble Connect Engineering team in Chennai, India. This position is permanent and full-time position located in Trimble Information Technologies India private Limited in Chennai, India.
Trimble Connect is responsible for development of software that makes our applications and processes for the built environment (Buildings, Heavy Civil and Geospatial) work together. Your responsibilities will include:
Being part in defining, building and maintaining globally used cloud solutions
Active participation in team responsibilities and process development in globally distributed organization
What we expect from you:
Academic Qualification: BE / B.Tech / ME / M.Tech in Computer Science or IT with 60% and above
3 to 7 years of experience in
Cloud based software development in globally distributed organization
Web development
In-depth understanding of Object Oriented JavaScript/Typescript Programming using Design Patterns
Experience in developing web applications using AngularJs 1.x and Angular 6/7/8
Experience in consuming REST services & Restful services
Experience with HTML5, CCS3, Bootstrap, Sass or similar UI technologies
Experience in developing web components with LitElement
Experience in unit tests and Integration testing
Experience in continuous integration and deployment tools such Jenkins and Bamboo
Experience in migrating projecting from AngularJs to Angular
Knowledge of JavaScript libraries / frameworks such as React or Vue
Knowledge of component development with Stenciljs
Knowledge of Node.js
Understanding and being able to provide solutions for cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility issues
Experience in designing and implementing solutions for reuse
Fluent written and spoken English
Excellent teamwork skills but also being able to work independently
Mentor juniors and take ownership of features
Initiative by nature and willingness to work with cross located teams, occasionally also at irregular hours
Enthusiasm for keeping up to date with latest web technologies
