Job Description
* DescriptionAnalytics is having a major impact on how industries are making decisions about how to better operate their plants, maintain their assets, and maximize their throughput. Application engineers help industries succeed in their digital transformation journey through the design, implementation, testing and deployment of analytics-based applications using Plantweb Analytics platform. Application engineers participate in advanced solutions projects including performance management, asset management, reliability, optimization, machine learning, prescriptive analytics, and operations management. Application engineers are also requested to coordinate with Sales team to enable the technical qualification of Plantweb Analytics through demos, presentations, and technical support.
Responsibilities- Understand the Plantweb Analytics technology and the internal working procedures and standards.
- Participate in advanced solutions projects including performance management, asset management, reliability, optimization, and operations management.
- Prepare functional and detailed design specification documents.
- Perform data analysis and modeling based on customers historical data to transform raw data into predictive models and actionable knowledge.
- Configure and test Plantweb Analytics projects.
- Coordinate with technology team to define new requirements to improve the product and test new functionalities.
- Coordinate with Sales team for Plantweb Analytics proposals/demos.
- Foster positive communications and relationships with team members, management, vendors and clients.
Skills and Competencies:
- Process and operations knowledge.
- Familiar with mass and energy balance.
- Familiar with asset management, performance management and reliability.
- Skilled in problem solving and research.
- Preferred familiarity with data analytics
Candidate Profile:
- Preferred degree in Chemical Engineering with 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
- Able to interact positively with customers and colleagues.
- Passion to learn technical and industry knowledge such as process equipment, unit processes, and digital technologies.
- Communicates effectively, collaborates, and cultivates innovation.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and possess a strong intellectual curiosity, and committed to long term association
- Passion towards building something new and innovative.
- Displays intellectual integrity.
