1.Interpreting the design requirements and developing a concept to suit the purpose
2. Estimating the time required to complete and set-realistic deadlines.
3. Developing design briefs by gathering information and data
4. Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
5. Using innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time;
6. Presenting finalised ideas and concepts to marketing team members;
7. Working with a wide range of media, including photography and software programs used as per industry standards.
8. Proofreading to produce accurate and high-quality work.
6. Contributing ideas and design artwork to the overall brief
7. Demonstrating illustrative skills whenever requiredworking on layouts and art-working pages ready for print-keeping abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design
programs such as InDesign, FreeHand, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Director, Dreamweaver and Flash
8. Developing interactive design;
9. Working as part of a team with printers, copywriters, photographers, stylists, illustrators, other designers, account executives, web developers and marketing specialists.
