Component Dev_Casting & Machining For A Leading Auto Manufacturer

From 6 to 10 year(s) of experience

Pune

A leading Automotive OEM is looking for B.E. (Mechanical or Production); Conversant with PDC process, Uni-graphics, Casting Simulation soft-wares (Magma/Pro-cast etc.) for the role of Component Development Engineer - Casting & Machining role. 

Component Development of PDC parts as per DR Methodology

Responsibilities:

Development of components for Pressure die cast parts with Vendor (Casting, surface treatment, machining & sub-assly operations) Development activities involved from Manufacturability feed-back to mass production
Cost estimation & cost negotiations
Monitoring of Die design approvals, simulation study for HPDC,
DFM data compilation for CD (C&M)
Technical Expertise
Exposure / Experience with processes Casting, machining, Surface treatment
Training for UG, Magma
Die cost estimation
Specific expertise required for

Exposure to UG, Simulation soft-wares Magma/Pro-cast
Die design & simulation
