Job Description
SM-Release Manager

In this role, you will be responsible for the below
Responsibilities
- Assist Products Teams in planning the release cycles using an Agile approach
- End to End Release Planning & defining processes at each stage of the product lifecycle
- Works and guides Scrum Masters from the product teams on following Agile practices
- Conducted Agile ceremonies
- Identifies and Manages risks that affect the release scope, schedule and quality
- Measure and monitor progress to ensure releases are delivered on time and within budget, and that they meet or exceed expectations
- Coordinate release content and effort based on the product backlog and technical debt
- Communicate all key project plans, commitments, and changes including requirements, quality plans, schedule, and scope changes
- Manage stakeholder relationships and closely works with functional different teams at different locations
- Conduct Release Readiness reviews
- Weekly Release Reporting
- Keeps the release schedule up-to-date for all products and ensure alignment across key stakeholders
- Communicate release details and schedules to leadership as needed
- Continually work towards making improvements in the release process
- Participate in CAB meetings to discuss release scope and/or roadblocks
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
- BS/BE/B.Tech/MCA or equivalent
- Proven release and/or project management experience in different Product Development sphere
- Proven understanding of all phases of product & development life cycles and experience in various methodologies such as Agile/Scrum/Kanban
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams toward task completion
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills are a must
Preferred Qualification
- PMP, CSM Certifications are a Good to Have
