Senior Software Engineer: SQL Server with SSIS

We are into Conversational AI and looking out for an engineer for our Customer Engagement Chat Product Interactive Voice Response (Text/Speech). It s our Chat messenger product for enterprise. This product is built in Java platform, advanced used of AI interactive chat bot.

Job Summary:
Build data warehouse for the enterprise to meet various reporting and dash boarding needs in-order to provide business insights & operational
Education Qualification : BE / B.Tech / MCA / M.Tech in CS / IT
Work Experience : 4 - 7 years of Software Industry experience
Required Technical Competency:
- Microsoft SQL Server & SSIS:
Primary Tech Skill:
- Hands-on in SQL Server programming (Joins, Date Operations, Normalization)
- Expertise in ETL Development experience using SSIS packages.
- Python for writing script tasks in SSIS packages (Good to have)
- Could articulate the business problem, project scope and role clearly
- Basic Query writing skills Must be good
- TSQL skills like write group by, date functions, delete statement, remove duplicate logic.etc
- Must be strong in SQL (Joins, String functions, Date Operations, Normalization), SSIS
- advanced SQL like dynamic queries
- Queries including date functions, CTE)CTE, Date related LOGICS & queries
- Date Operations, SSIS, Problem Approaching
- Scenario to load one excel file to multiple table using SSIS must be able to explain
Secondary Tech skill required
- Building Cubes using SSAS
- Expertise in SSRS Report Development Experience.
- Data Visualization Skills Tableau
- KAFKA, NoSQL DB
- GCP Data Flow & Big Query
- Data warehousing concepts: Expert in implementing Data warehousing concepts.
- Ability to decompose / translate business requirement to technical design and be able to design database objects which are scalable and flexible for change
- Sound knowledge & Expertise of Database development including developing Stored Procedures, functions etc.
- Good understanding of data-modeling concepts
- Strong SSIS skills and experience in dealing with heterogenous data sources. Good knowledge in .net for performing script tasks in SSIS packages
- Good knowledge in Python for processing complex files, writing program and needful integration with SSIS.
- Good to have experience designing/implementing OLAP cubes using SSAS
- Good to have Experience in OLAP Cube and MDX query development
- Fast adoption of new tools and techniques
- Experience in developing dashboards using Tableau
Job Responsibilities
- Participate in the analysis, design, development of SQL Server DB programs, SSIS, SSRS, SSAS tools
- Ability to decompose / translate business requirement to technical design and be able to design database objects which are scalable and flexible for change
- Sound knowledge & Expertise of Database development including developing Stored Procedures, functions etc.
- Good understanding of data-modelling concepts

- Experience designing/implementing OLAP cubes using SSAS
- Experience in OLAP Cube and MDX query development

- Experience in developing dashboards using Tableau
- Design layout of SSRS reports and determine the best way to present data to end users
- Develop SSRS reports and dashboards using Microsoft Reporting Services utilizing SQL Server 2012 and above
- Leveraging cubes in excel / SSRS tools for reports / dashboards.
- Work on cross-functional solutions, from requirements gathering, solution architecture, development and implementation.
- Design and deliver software as part of cross-functional teams.
- Ability to write shared and reusable code.
- Implement and enhance sophisticated real-time enterprise data integrations.
- Design and implement data management solutions that support scalable, highly performing systems.
- Work within a modern DBMS environment to ensure [24]7 s applications and support staff have reliable and accurate data supplied to them at all times.
- Lead technical communications with other teams, both internal and external
- Develop and maintain application documentation.
- Should possess strong non-technical skills including, but not limited to, problem-solving, work prioritization, communication, self-direction, and time management.
- Contact Center / BPO Domain knowledge
- Understanding of Database Query Performance tuning & optimization
- Good communication skills, able to work independently on ETL tasks, including data-analysis and documentation.
- Should be knowledgeable about loading various DIMs/FACTs load using SSIS packages.
- Should have worked with different sources like files, web services, and database systems.
