Manager, Software Engineering
Role Overview:
Cardinal Health is seeking a Manager, Software Engineering (Salesforce) who will be responsible for building, leading, and maintaining a high-performance team that delivers state-of-the-art Salesforce solutions. The Manager should possess strong interpersonal and leadership skills. The ideal candidate is an individual with a customer-focused mindset, hands-on skills, a positive work ethic, and a collaborative mindset who is willing to learn and adapt to evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Hire, Develop & Retain a strong team of engineers to build and deploy cutting edge, scalable Salesforce solutions, supporting multi-billion-dollar business
Manage communication and coordination with cross-functional teams at Headquarters and other global centers
Provide Thought Leadership to the broader organization around CRM/Salesforce application development
Lead development of functional and non-functional changes on Salesforce solutions
Responsible for enhancing the engineering discipline of the team. Must continuously enhance and own development processes to ensure the quality of products and code
Responsible for career, skill development, coaching, and mentoring of direct reports
Qualifications:
Degree in Computer Science or a related field
10+ years of strong technology background is required with exposure to Architecture & Design
4+ years of experience in software product development management or delivery management roles, managing direct reports
Demonstrate understanding of SaaS platforms including but not limited to Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Pardot technologies
Dev / Ops demonstrated preferred skills in managing dev/ops in a complex salesforce environment
Agile preferred experience in developing/delivering salesforce in an agile environment managing parallel sprints
Strong People Management skills leading mid-size teams
Demonstrated ability to hire, develop and retain top talent
Strong organizational skills and management techniques
Excellent oral and written communication skills
