Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant Quality Analyst
The Quality Analyst is responsible to create, hold and facilitate test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members
Responsibilities
Lead a team of QA analysts, and work on creation of test strategy and review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables.
Outline and review Functional Specifications / Use cases, Preparing Test Scenarios, Creating Test Cases and execution of Test Cases.
Outline and review functional test cases and other test artefacts like the test data, data validation, harness scripts and automated scripts (Selenium).
Developing, executing and evaluating automated test scripts as per BDD/TDD using Selenium WebDriver, BDD, Jbehave.
Create test plan/case reviews with cross-functional team members.
Identify any potential quality issues per defined process and escalate potential quality issues immediately to management.
Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications and requirements.
Isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.
Analysis of Bug tracking, Prioritizing and Bug Reporting with Bug tracking tools
Essential Skills
Must have work experience in testing
Knowledge of functional, non-functional testing and backend database testing in Oracle/SQL Server including validating stored procedures and triggers.
Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan.
Jira, Mantis or any Project maintenance and tracking tool.
Mind map, UML, JMeter or should know at least one software modelling tool.
UI tools like SAHI, Selenium Webdriver, JBehave or similar tools.
Should have good understanding of SQL and at least database like Oracle, SQL Server or DB2
Should understand scripting like batch and shell scripting.
Should have command over MS Windows and Linux operating system command
Good communication (verbal and written) is essential for effective execution of QA lead role.
