Hi,
We are Hiring Senior Associates for Operations Support. A candidate must have the following skills.
Job Title: Environment Manager
Location: Pune, Bangalore, Chennai, Indore
Responsibilities include:
- Develops and maintains best practices and standards for library management and build management
- Works cross functionally with application management, application development, release management, and code deployment in the implementation of standard procedures.
- Daily management of install, build and release activities including automating build deployments, continuously improving install and upgrade processes, eliminating build failures
- Assist in Release and Deployment duties as needed.
- Champions and promotes the benefits of Library Management and Code Build processes.
- Identifies and champions opportunities for build automation.
- Monitors adherence to the Library Management and Code Build processes, policies and procedures
- Responsible for identifying and driving implementation of activities that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of these processes
Qualifications & Experience:
- BS/BA Degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Management or related field
- Understanding of Bitbucket, Maven, Hudson, ANT, or similar technologies.
- Understanding of Java, Unix & Windows shell scripting, build, release and configuration management practices, branching and patch management
- Knowledge of branching and merging concepts and best practices
- A understanding of ITIL processes; Incident, Problem, Change, Configuration and Release management Collision Management as it relates to Change Management
- 6-10 years direct work experience implementing continuous integration processes and tools in a web-based and client-server environment
- Hands-on experience with creating and/or customizing build automation tools on both the UNIX and WINDOWS environments
- Understanding of both UNIX and Windows OS platforms
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with technical project leads, developers, and QA team members
- Troubleshooting and problem isolation skills and be capable of clearly communicating complex issues to coworkers (peers, developers, and managers)
