Job Description

Job Role:- Branch Manager

Educational Qualification: Minimum Second class Graduate with adequate professional qualification

Work Experience Requirement:- The candidate should have at least 15 years of work experience in the banking sector out of which a minimum of 3 years working as an Assistant Branch Manager position or should be currently working as Branch Manager.

Age Limit: - 40 to 45 Years

Location:- Mumbai, Pune , Aurangabad, and Nashik 

Salary package:- approximately in the range of 10.00 Lacs to 15.00Lacs

Purpose of the Role

Performs the role as a CEO of the branch & responsible for overall profitability of the branch as well as responsible for managing resources and staff, developing and attaining sales targets, delivering customer service, and growing the location's revenues.


Job Duties & Responsibilities

  1. To develop business development strategies relevant to the catchment area of the branch
  2. To mobilize liability products with a focus on augmenting low-cost deposit
  3. Marketing quality assets with a major focus on retail products
  4. Approve loans within specified limits, and refer loan applications outside those limits to Regional Team for approval
  5. Analyze applicants' financial status, credit, and property evaluations to determine the feasibility of granting loans
  6. Generate leads for Ancillary businesses like Non-Life Insurance, Life Insurance, Mutual Funds, Health Insurance, Demat, Forex business.
  7. To proactively monitor the quality of assets to identify stressed accounts
  8. To maintain the highest standards of customer service
  9. To manage the customer complaints, redress grievances effectively, and improve the Branch Productivity
  10. To set performance goals for direct reports, monitor their performance, and provide directions as and when required
  11. Responsible for the minimum audit queries
  12. Mentoring and Coaching of the branch staff, monitoring progress, receiving feedback, boosting the morale of the staff
  13. Monitoring and controlling of Branch expenses to align with budgets provided by Head Office.

A good leader with excellent communication skills, Sales skills, Customer relationship management skills, Leadership skills, Administration skills as well as analytical skills. Technology Savvy and ability to do multitask effectively.
