Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - SCCM Infra Support and Deployment
Responsibilities
- Customer Support/Success engineer would be involved in delivering and supporting technical solution for organizations VDI components and Azure.
- Maintain corporate standard PC/Mac/Laptop images
- Prepare, install and support Windows and Mac OS systems
- Troubleshooting of complex incidents or those that simply need desk side assistance
- To create and update in-house documentation for the IT Service Desk
- Liaise with other IT teams regarding incidents requiring multiple discipline involvement
- Understand and comply with licensing requirements for software installed
- Understand and adhere to all elements of technical standards and security policy Understand and adhere to all elements of change management process
- Maintain an understanding of business direction and technical strategy; providing advice and guidance to influence this where appropriate
- Thorough knowledge of and compliance with procedures and standards
- Microsoft Endpoint Management - Responsible for device management, maintaining the Intune/Autopilot environment OSD creation/maintenance, application packaging/deployment, Windows patching, hardware specs, etc.
- Administer, integrate and co-management (Intune-SCCM)
- Device Management - JAMF and Intune MDM
- Knowledge of SCCM Server upgrades, setting up remote SCCM Distribution points and be able to manage service point to provide policy and download content
- Provide engineering, software programming and scripting to support the release of new business applications functionality by deploying automatic installation packages
- Provide the application packages and feature updates to testing team for User Acceptance tests performing
- Retrieve the tested packages and feature updates for further deployment
- Provide application packaging services including releasing system software and applications into production, retiring applications and system software and the handling of exceptions
- Assure at a global level the software, patches and features updates deployment
- Coordinate Software deployments
- Conduct the deployment reviews and share results with customer
- Monitor the deployment issues and report on the deployment process
- Ensure SCCM client maintenance is running on the workstations
- Support, respond- to and resolve ad- hoc questions and issues from application owners, software developers and application package requestors and provide timely responses and solutions
- Be responsible for the full day- to- day operation of the application packaging services, including supporting software for use in Client environment and ensuring that only single versions of software are in use
- Report to client on the application packaging services activity and highlight any issues that require intervention
- Strong communication skills
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications- Planning and implementation of SCCM Patch management
- Good documentation skills to document processes to be published as service manuals.
- Knowledge and experience of supporting CAD and/or Adobe software
- Excellent working knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Office suite - Office 2013 and/or M365
- Desktop networking issues and diagnostics (TCP/IP/DNS etc)
- A general understanding of network technologies, VPN, remote access solutions, Terminal Servers & virus protection tools (Symantec)
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of people at all levels
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills articulate and diplomatic manner
- Resilient to cope with conflicting demands and able to prioritize duties and work under pressure
- Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks
- Able to work independently and as part of an effective team

- Create application task sequences
- Troubleshoot application delivery issues
- Application delivery planningimplementation
OSD Creation and delivery via SCCM 2016
- Task sequencing building and troubleshooting
- HW Driver import and troubleshooting
- User State Migration
- UDI splash screen building
- Application delivery at build time
- WIM Build and Capture creationtroubleshooting
- MDT
- Windows 7, 8 and 10 Deployment experience
- Security Patch management with SCCM 2016
- Windows Updates
