Position Design Engineer-Electrical
Location Corporate Office, New Delhi
Educational Qualification B Tech in Electrical (Preference for postgraduate)
Experience 4-5 Years
Hands-on experience in Estimation, Bidding, Conceptual / Base
Designs, Detailed Designs, Design/Engineering studies, Calculations
and Drawings / Documentation, Material Take Off, Design and
Interface Coordination activities in AIS and GIS Substations in India
and Abroad Relevant experience in Design, Engineering,
Coordination and Site Implementation of Extra -High Voltage AIS
and GIS Equipment, Control & Protection, Auxiliary Systems and
associated Systems / Works in EHV Substations for 220kV or above
voltage level
Should be proficient in Primary and Secondary engineering and
having knowledge of National and International codes
Experience of equipment engineering at least upto 220kV
Reporting to Technical Head-Electrical

1. Preparation of layout plan
2. Elevation section
3. Cable sizing calculations
4. Earthing, DSLP calculations
5. Station battery sizing calculations
6. Short circuit force calculations
7. Conductor sizing calculations
8. Preparation of erection key diagram (EKD)
9. Preparation of clearance diagram for different voltage grade
10. Pre-bid Engineering
11. Review of Specifications
12. Preparation of Clarifications
13. Review, Finalization and preparation of Technical Data
Schedules
14. Preparation & review of B.O.Q for the scope of Design
15. Preparation of As-built documentation.
16. Preparation & Submission of Daily / Weekly / Monthly reports
17. Preparation of technical specifications.
18. Preparation of cable schedule.
19. Client coordination
