Job Description
This job will be on Third party payroll & renewable contractual basis.
Job Purpose
The Multimedia Assistant will assist in developing and maintaining eLearning
and various internal portals and tools.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Good knowledge of Web technologies (PHP, PHP Framework, jQuery, CSS, JS, HTML5)
- MySQL or similar databases
- Familiar with Web 2.0 and Social Learning environment tools
- Editing graphics/photographs
- Maintain the Content Delivery Server, if any, including loading resource files, creating FTP sites and managing user access
- Generating reports from websites
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelors/ Masters Degree/Advanced Diploma in Computer Science/Engineering(M)
- Willing to work in shifts
- Competencies for the profile (M=mandatory, B=beneficial):
- Working knowledge of the following tools/software in the PC environment:
- PHP (M)
- PHP framework (M)
- Bootstrap (M)
- HTML5 (M)
- CSS (M)
- jQuery (M)
- JavaScript (M)
- Web server (M)
- Python (M)
- Angular (M)
- Nodejs (B)
- Web 2.0 and Social Learning environment tools (M)
- Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (M)
- Photoshop (B)
- Adobe Premiere or alternative video editor (B)
- Good problem solving skills, including ability to proactively research and recommend appropriate new technologies for the TS team (B)
- Eye for detail and focus on standards and quality (M)
- Good communication and interpersonal skills to work within international virtual teams (M)
- Well organised, self-disciplined and able to prioritise activities with
- good time management (M)
- Positive attitude, result orientated and able to work to tight deadlines (M)
