Job Description
We are looking for a Digital Transformation engineer to help drive the success of Microsoft s Industry Cloud ecosystem of customers and partners. The Microsoft Industry Clouds + Solutions team, as part of the Digital Transformation Platform group, is bringing together the best that Microsoft has to offer to ship industry-focused solutions, such as the Microsoft Cloud for Retail, and Microsoft Cloud for Manufacturing to meet the needs of some of the biggest companies in the world. In this role, you will work with Product engineering, delivering components of each Industry Cloud comprised of Azure, Dynamics 365 & Power Platform, and Microsoft 365. In this role you will deliver impact by identifying and engaging strategic industry Customers and Partners to adopt our platform. You will facilitate shared success between engineering and all disciplines that deliver on our Customer and Partner promise for the Industry Clouds. You will also capture best practices and become a resource and mentor for teams across Microsoft for each Industry Cloud, with particular focus on our Field and Seller organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Aid in setting targets and driving volume of Customers, ISVs and System Integrators that work with our Industry Clouds.
- Serve as a subject expert on Industry Clouds for Retail and/or Manufacturing, engaging and upskilling field and partner technical roles.
- Help define features and deliver line of business solutions for tracking and reporting on early-stage customer and partner engagements to senior leadership.
- Partner with Industry Cloud Program Management to define product features based on real-world feedback, working closely as voice of customer and Industry-focused field voices.
- Provide thought-leadership and guidance to Customer Business and Technical Decision makers on Industry Cloud Solutions.
- Lead development and delivery of Field-facing programs that are repeatable and scalable for each Industry Cloud
- Manage communications of inbound leads including self-serve learning and signup experience, working across disciplines as customer advocate.
- Ecosystem adoption Rhythm of the Business and Reporting.
- Close partnership with Technical Solution Architects as they engage initial customers, creating technical feedback loops to product engineering and leadership.
- Strong ability to problem solve and communicate recommendations to senior leadership, backed by data.
- Participate in development of Proof of Concepts, Hacks, Bug Bash participation, and Dashboards as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a senior business and/or technical orchestration role across disciplines
- 3+ years of domain experience in at least one of the following industries: Manufacturing and/or Retail line of business solution development
- Working understanding of functional and technical architecture of at least one: Dynamics 365, Azure, and/or Microsoft 365
- Demonstrated examples of mentorship and senior leadership
- Demonstrated experience with Dynamics CRM, Power BI and/or Power Automate.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- MBA is a plus, but not required.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
