Job Description
The Microsoft Industry Clouds + Solutions team, as part of the Digital Transformation Platform group, is bringing together the best that Microsoft has to offer to ship industry-focused solutions, such as the Microsoft Cloud for Financial Services or Microsoft Cloud for Manufacturing to meet the needs of some of the biggest companies in the world. In this role, you will work with Product engineering, delivering components of each Industry Cloud comprised of Azure, Dynamics 365 & Power Platform, and Microsoft 365. In this role you will deliver impact by identifying and engaging strategic industry Customers and Partners to adopt our platform which may include architecture design, POC development. You will facilitate shared success between engineering and all disciplines that deliver on our Customer and Partner promise for the Industry Clouds. You will also capture best practices and become a resource and mentor for teams across Microsoft for each Industry Cloud, with particular focus on our Field and Seller organizations.
Responsibilities:
- Aid in setting targets and driving volume of Customers, ISVs and System Integrators that work with our Industry Clouds.
- Orchestrate field technical and seller roles across all three clouds to operate as a single Microsoft Cloud in delivery of Industry Solutions.
- Provide thought-leadership and guidance to Customer Business and Technical Decision makers on Industry Cloud Solutions.
- Partner with Industry Cloud Solution engineering to define future product releases based on real-world feedback, working closely as voice of customer and Industry-focused field voices.
- Lead development and delivery of Microsoft field-facing technical upskilling content that is repeatable and scalable for each Industry Cloud
- Strong ability to problem solve and communicate recommendations to senior leadership, backed by data.
- Participate in development of Proof of Concepts, Hacks, Bug Bash participation, and Dashboards as needed.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a senior technical role across disciplines
- 5+ years of domain experience in at least one of Financial Services, Retail or Manufacturing solutions delivery
- 5+ years of demonstrated experience with one of the following: Dynamics 365, Azure, Power BI and/or Power Automate.
- Working understanding of functional and technical architecture of at least one of the following: Dynamics 365, Azure, and/or Microsoft 365
- Demonstrated examples of mentorship and senior leadership
Preferred Qualifications:
- A B.S. in Computer Science, B.S.B.A. in equivalent MIS or CIS program, or graduation from relevant Coding program(s)
- S. in Computer Science or MBA is a plus, but not required.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
