Production Application upgrade and administration (Application skill set includes C/Unix, Shell Scripting, Database knowledge)
Deployment & Validation
Perform System Maintenance
Monitor System Performance
Responsibilities of the candidate are as follows.
Work with project upgrade (Client) team for enhancing the application/system.
Act as a single point of contact from offshore working for the customer.
Troubleshoot technical issues faced which could be related to external interfaces, networking, application and OS configuration, etc.
Test upgrades and patches from development team prior to rollout
Develop clear and detailed technical & process documentation (Standard Operating Procedures) for incidents
Resolving urgent and immediate requests for the project work.
Ensuring complete adherence to SLAs for all operations of installations/support/maintenance.
Deep dive into critical issues, identify Root cause and provide suggestion to Dev/Design teams.
