Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
Supervising all fabrication/ welding/ finishing activities on the shop floor
Planning manpower, machine, material to increase productivity and reduce costs
Inspecting product at all stages of production and post production, including buffing, polishing, painting, powder coating
Monitor consumable consumption to control the cost
Maintaining safe and good quality environment in shop floor
Responsible for training all operators/ technicians/ helpers
Responsible for maintaining discipline within the team by all workers
Implementation of KAIZEN and 5S culture in shop floor.
Achieve timely dispatch of orders as per the project timelines
Responsible for coordinating with interdependent departments to ensure timely delivery and dispatch
Desired Candidate Profile
BE/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
Experience in the field of fabrication and production is mandatory
Must be familiar with all the processes of welding
Should have knowledge of interpreting drawing/design documents.
<1-5 years of experience as in sheet metal fabrication and welding
Knowledge of Kaizen and 5S
Able to work well in a fast-paced environment
Good written and oral communication skills
