This position is located in our Chennai office.
What You'll Be Doing:
Works with the business, product management and senior engineering management to clarify business requirements and provide effective technical designs aligning with industry best practices
- Evangelize and drive the design and implementation of complex data processing pipelines as part of a dynamic and fast-paced team
- Provides technical mentorship and guidance to individual members of the engineering team
- Contribute across the platform, or products in areas like technology, team skills, process, shared components and quality
- Demonstrate ability to decompose a feature request into actionable work items that can be sized correctly and delivered
- Demonstrate ability to onboard new engineers with how to conduct code reviews, how to do testing
Must Haves:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in technical field OR equivalent work experience
- 5+ years of relevant professional work experience
- Hands-on experience with software architecture, creating data pipelines using big data technologies, continuous integration and continuous deployment.
- Experience working in highly interactive partnership with product management team.
- Experience of any server-side development language, preferably Scala or Python.
- Experience in designing and developing relational database, or non-relational databases.
- Experience working with big data processing and/or enterprise analytics technologies.
Even Better:
- Experience in designing and implementing scalable data pipelines involving heterogeneous data sources.
- Experience in the healthcare domain, especially in the area of Clinical Quality Measures.
- Experience leading small groups of software engineers in the delivery of high-quality, scalable solutions
- Experience with healthcare standards such as HL7, QRDA, CCD, etc.
- Experience with large product integrations and performance enhancements.
- Experience developing enterprise-scale commercial software in the health care industry.
- Experience developing scalable and performant enterprise software using big data technologies.
Education:
UG: B.Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization, B.Sc - Any Specialization
PG: MCA - Computers
