Your daily duties will vary depending on what your store sells and your position within it, but at a junior level this can include:

• Serving customers
• Dealing with customer queries and complaints
• Handling payments

• Ordering stock
• Overseeing deliveries

Your responsibilities will change if you're in a management role, and in a senior position your job duties are more likely to be:

• Managing and motivating staff
• Meeting sales targets
• Managing stock
• Analyzing sales
