Job Description
Title:-Software Quality Analyst
Location: Bengaluru
Work Type: Work From Office
Working hours: 9 to 7 PM (Monday to Friday)
Job Responsibilities:
Perform manual testing of web applications to ensure the software meets the requirements and is fit for use.
Write new test cases for new features and maintain existing test cases up to date.
Create and update test cases according to project details and schedule.
Understand requirements, user stories, system requirements to create corresponding test cases.
Write, execute, and update testing scripts to automate test cases.
Communicate testing progress, results, and other relevant information to the team and other stakeholders based on test plans.
Track defects, create and maintain testing reports.
Perform basic security testing and performance testing.
Manually test all new fixes/features for each release.
Investigate bug reports from users and provide a detailed analysis to developers.
Develop and maintain a system-wide smoke test.
Verify all products are functioning correctly before and after a production move.
Analyse production problems and determine solutions to improve processes to avoid the problem in the future, i.e., change control, post- implementation issues, development and testing issues.
Review data received daily from all partner clients and flag any potential issues or bugs encountered
Job Requirements:
2+ years of hands-on experience in manual testing in the capacity of a software tester/QA engineer/Quality Analyst.
Experience of QA for Web Interfaces, Mobile Apps, and Backend APIs
Strong experience in creating test data and test cases.
Must have experience in Selenium & API testing with Postman.
Knowledge with load testing using JMeter or similar tool.
Knowledge of performance testing via ZAP or similar tool.
Experience in GUI testing and mobile application testing.
Domain knowledge of eCommerce (preferred).
Experience in software testing with Agile development methodologies.
Strong documentation, communication, and team collaboration skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Should be detail oriented
Understanding of MySQL databases.
