We are currently seeking a Software Development Specialist to join our team in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh (IN-AP), India (IN).
Position Functions or Responsibilities:
As Software Development Analyst, you will participate in support and enhancements of multiple applications built on SQL, PowerBuilder, java and .Net technologies in the Long term health care domain; understand reported issues, provide immediate as well as root cause resolutions.
Participate in the analysis, debugging, and fixing production issues.
Coordinate with teams working on other inter-dependent applications for analysis and testing of the fixes.
Coordinate with QA till the fixes are tested and approved.
Coordinate with the client business users to understand issues and arrive at a resolution.
Coordinate with the onsite support team.
Understand defined SLAs and be proactive in achieving the defined deadlines.
Adhere to defined software lifecycle methodologies.
Follow source code and revision control for projects.
Clearly communicate issues and status.
Participate in process improvement activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelors or master s degree in technology / Engineering or computer science or related field
Strong Technical Skills in PowerBuilder, SQL Server 2012, XML, Team Foundation Server, ServiceNow (or any other ticketing tool)
Understanding of Long-Term Care, or any other flavour of Health Insurance / Annuities.
Basic Qualifications:
5-8 years of development experience, preferably in production support - coding, unit testing, integration testing in medium to large size projects
Ability to understand and work as per critical SLAs. Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills.
