LSH Analytics, Business Analyst (Media Research/ Intelligence/ Insights)
We are looking for a Business Analyst who would be responsible for scanning print or Internet stories and identifying how news items could affect and be relevant to the customer.
Responsibilities
Ability to quickly sift through the vast amount of media information daily look for news items and articles directed by the employer.
Secondary research for the preparation of executive synopsis on key news items of interest to the client from print, online, and broadcast media and tagging
Social Media listening listening reports creation for daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly and analysis
Generation of media monitoring reports, event/conference/crisis monitoring, real-time alerts, Social Media monitoring, Competitive Intelligence, and Media auditing
Excellent secondary research skills formulation of search terms/strings to fetch the right data from various news aggregators, media sources, and World Wide Web
Exposure to news aggregation tools like Factiva, Cision, LexisNexis, Meltwater, Radian6, Social Studio, etc.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications/Skills
Bachelor s Degree, MSc, MBA
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to deal with the Communications Team/Professionals of PR Agencies/Corporates via telecalls and emails
Willingness to work in different time shifts
Preferred qualifications/ Skills
Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations
Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments, and locations
Superb communication and negotiation skills
