Job Description
JOB OPENING FOR THE POST OF SR MANAGER PURCHASE- UTENSILS PLANT
LOCATION-SONIPAT
EXPERIENCE-10+
QUALIFICATION-BETECH MECHANICAL
JOB PROFILE-
- MIS reporting and achieve targets
- Planning & Centralized Procurement of Raw Material, General consumables, Thread Rolling Dies, Tooling, oils, chemicals, packing material, instrument, bought out parts & standard engineering items etc.
- Procurement of capital items/projects
- Commercial negotiations and price fixation with vendors
- Provide the monthly demand schedule to all domestic and import suppliers
- Releasing Schedules/P.Orders for timely arrangement of material
- Arrange the materials and follow-up on daily basis timely for production
- Develop new sources for items required for production. Development of alternative local sources for imported raw materials which helps in cost saving.
- Planning and budgeting of purchase functions, involving cost estimation, contract negotiations.
- Liaison with the production department to maintain optimum inventory.
- Purchasing/planning & development of bought-out items washers, caps, springs etc.
- Adherence to IATF 16949 norms and procurement as per stipulations
- Complying JIT principles to ensure effective inventory control and its upkeep and maintenance
- Identifying indigenous sources for import substitution
- Implemented strategy with regular suppliers to give maximum discount & deliver the items on FOR basis by giving them high volume of business
- Implementing systems to avoid situations like over-stocking or out-of-stock which cause production and financial losses.
- Liaison with finance department for timely payment of bills.
