Job Description
Management Trainee - Research & Sales GTM Analyst
Genpact s Private Equity (PE) Practice is a sales GTM team that offers Genpact s suite of services to notable PE firms and their portfolio companies to take them through their Digital Transformation journeys.
We re looking for highly driven individuals to join the team and become PE subject-matter experts and market intelligence savants. Your day to day will require you to understand our client landscape and to process and analyse key data that helps us better understand this client set. You ll also be responsible for building an easily accessible repository of artefacts and materials that the team develops, to keep our business running smoothly. From a strategic aspect, you will be involved in target selection and GTM implementation based on Genpact s corporate strategy blueprint to drive growth in one of Genpact s most exciting, growing teams.
Responsibilities
This role requires a balance of strategy-setting, higher-level research, as well as tactical work to map out company statistics, stakeholders, and our internal relationships with them:
Responsible for preparing high-quality, client-focused research deliverables including company and industry analysis under aggressive deadlines. This includes editing/proofing and quality control
Helping to conduct administrative account management and quality control on Salesforce, running processes to ensure we communicate between multiple stakeholders
Maintaining our internal knowledge repositories with up-to-date content - latest templates, proposals, collaterals
Supporting us in holding governance with vertical and service line leaders across Genpact
Target identification, triangulation with Corporate strategy to shortlist and prioritize our GTM efforts
Account strategy setting and execution support work with senior sales and strategy colleagues
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
Savvy with MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint -specifically, must know how to use Excel formulas, including but not limited to VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.
Strong research skills and experience of working on research tools & databases
Good writing and editing skills required to craft clear messaging and content
Attention to detail and perfectionist mindset
Preferred Skills
Ability to think critically and own solutions / deliverables for quality, completeness and timeliness
The ability to work in a self-directed manner, navigating through a fast-paced and ambiguous environment
Ability to learn and collaborate with a team remotely, and with minimal supervision
Flexible - ability to adapt to changing dynamics quickly
Some experience in client-facing role and/or understanding of the professional services market would be an advantage
