Job Description

Job Description: he areas of responsibilities include( but not to be restricted to ):
- Working knowledge and experience of administration, configuration, upgrading, and installation of Oracle RDBMS technologies, and middle ware technologies.
- Solid scripting skills using Linux shell, SQL, and PL/SQL. Experience with APEX, Oracle Webcache,OWB, OBIEE, Agile is a plus.
- Experience with Linux tools and commands.
- Knowledge of performance tuning and troubleshooting skills across the whole technology stack (db, middleware, OS), Enterprise Manager, and ability to meet deadlines under pressure.
- UNIX administration experience and knowledge is a plus.
- Desire for and quick to learn new technologies, team player, strong problem solving abilities, results-oriented, customer focused, self starter, and with good communication skills.
- Ability to manage projects, communicates with upper management, provide documentations, and work closely with product development and other teams.
- Strong problem solving skills
- Participates in a 24 by 7 (8 hours shift) production support rotation that covers all environments.
- Occasionally, you may be asked to work weekends in addition to production support rotation to perform major production activities like upgrades.
