About the Role
Binary Fountains Product Engineering team is looking for a talented Technical Support Engineer to join our fast-paced, growth stage company at the center of healthcare innovation. As we continue to grow one of the largest repositories of opinion content and consumer feedback in healthcare, we are advancing our systems deep analytics of unstructured content to power our suite of products.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Troubleshooting and resolving errors, and throughout their work they must constantly log details for later reports and to provide stakeholders with updates. When not fixing issues, they assist other engineers by contributing to product development and improving processes.
- When technical issues with the product arise, must act quickly to analyze the available data and find the root cause of the problem. They may then arrive at a resolution themselves or pass the problem on to other engineering team members, all the while providing stakeholders with progress updates.
- Get involved in creation of useful tools such as internal software to automate key processes or platforms.
- Get involved in preparation of extensive documentation when logging product issues, as they must note all details, including their observations, diagnoses, and action steps. Maintaining and enhancing of Playbooks and troubleshooting guidelines.
- Monitoring all the applications in production and ensuring all SLAs are met with availability, scalability and issue resolution
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or similar.
- At least 3+ years hand's on as a developer experience in Core java and associated Technologies or in front end technologies like REACT
- Develop a deep understanding of Productions, Applications and components in the system.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a good sense of numbers.
- Analyze and Debug problems, diagnose, and fix bugs when required.
- Work with developers to identify and resolve complex problems.
- Address urgent issues quickly, work within and measure against customer SLAs.
- Maintain ongoing record of problem analysis and resolution activity in an on-call tracking system.
- Proactively monitor production and non-production environments and applications.
- Ability to write/run SQL queries using- Joins, tables, Create, Index, Select.
- Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Should be able to troubleshoot issues.
- Working in Agile environment.
- Knowledge and experience of working with any one ticketing tool like JIRA / Rally / ServiceNow
