General Summary
Responsible for Maintaining Equipment in perfect Condition. Focus on commissioning support for New machines, Equipment Upgrades from time to time & Breakdown Support.
Duties & Responsibilities

1. installation & Commissioning support for new Equipment
2. Maintain & Improve the controls systems for Equipment Install base
3. Maintain Back up of modified software upgrades and remain apt with the latest technology
4. Provide Engineering support to close Breakdown Calls efficiently and maintaining Maximum Machine Uptime
5. Work on Focused Improvements to improve MTBF
6. Train Technicians to improve MTTR
7. Support development SPMs to improve operational Efficiency
8. Following all the safety norms and ensuring no norms are violated in any process.
9. Maintaining 5S standards of the highest level
10. Anything else desired by Management

Objectives:

• Maximize OEE

RELATED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
w/ BE/B-Tech Electrical or Electronics & Telecommunications Engg /Instrumentation Engg with 6-10Years of Related Experience at least 5 years in Fiber Optics Cable MFG.
SKILLS REQUIRED

1. Sound Knowledge of Electrical Control Systems, Mechanical Systems and Control Platforms
2. Capable of working with AB, Siemens, Mitsubishi, Delta, Direct Logix PLCs etc
3. Apt Knowledge of various transducers and control circuits
4. Should have sound knowledge of Communication protocols like Modbus, Profibus, RS485, Ethernet etc.
5. HMI /SCADA programming and link up to PLC. Should be able to quickly learn and adapt new makes.
6. AC/DC drives Installation & Programming
7. Sound Knowledge of Utility Equipment & Power Systems
8. Sound knowledge of supporting SPM build
9. Sound Knowledge of PDCA cycle and the DMAIC process
10. Should have knowledge of local and international service/spares providers
11. Excellent written & Verbal communication Skills
12. Capable of working in Shifts & SAP literate
