Description Job Summary: UKG is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our IT team and will play a key role in supporting a new Professional Services Automation (PSA) application. The Business Analyst will work closely with IT teams and a cross functional group of stakeholders including Global Delivery, Sales and Finance to ensure seamless application support. Qualified candidates must possess broad experience in issue resolution, system configurations to meet the requirements and work with developers on solution extensions. This position demands strong organizational skills and problem-solving expertise, while working with current and emerging technologies, and managing team dynamics. Excellent analytical skills, team orientation, flexibility, innovative thinking, problem solving, and self-motivation are required for success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Business Analysis
. Work with numerous business stakeholders across multiple departments to identify and resolve issues related to Professional Service Automation (PSA) solution and connected components. In depth understanding of PSA capabilities that includes resourcing, projects, milestones, tasks, time entry and billing.
. Contribute to the regular cadence of product upgrades for PSA. Follow upcoming releases, join training sessions, test functionality, summarize impact to UKG processes, write internal release notes and provide documentation.
. Collaborate regularly with Technical leads, Salesforce developers, and integration developers on functional requirements to implement custom extensions or application integrations to satisfy business requirements when needed.
. Work with stakeholders to understand, prioritize and estimate development resources required for new features in addition to enhancement and bug fix work efforts.
. Knowledge of all phases of the software development lifecycle, with an emphasis on requirements elicitation, requirements and design modeling, documentation, and communication
. Execute responsibilities with an understanding of the product vision, strategic objectives, and priorities
. Key participant in the test and release cycle for system enhancements/fixes.
. Create and maintain data and process audit reports and dashboards.
. Be able to identify and implement process improvement
Qualifications . 2+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis
. 2+ years of experience with Professional Services Automation (PSA) systems
. Understanding of PSA tool functions to include entire project lifecycle, processes, and metrics
. Ability to handle heavy workload, facilitate the activities of dynamic workgroups, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
. Salesforce.com experience (certification preferred)
. Strong Problem-Solving Skills - Ability to analyze and critically evaluate gathered information to resolve conflicts and anticipate issues.
. Must have working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, MS Visio, and MS Project
. High degree of organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.
. Self-motivated and willing to 'do what it takes' to get the job done
. Be able to work with different personalities and bring them together towards a common goal.
. Work in multi-cultural environments therefore, sensitivity and understanding of different work approaches is important.
. Being able to interact with others, communicate well and ask questions
. Work effectively as a member of a team and independently.
