We are currently seeking a Software Development Specialist to join our team in Bengaluru, Karntaka (IN-KA), India (IN).
Candidate is expected to have expertise in IBM Mainframe System - PL/1, JCL, Mantis, SQL, z/OS, CA7, VSAM, TSO/ISPF
At least 3+ years of experience in PL/1, DB2, IMS DB
Sound knowledge of CA7, Endevor and Mantis

The particular position on offer requires the candidate to
Propose, Estimate the effort required for full scale application project . Candidate is required to have sound design knowledge and experience on using design tools and IDEs and able to produce deliverables using the tools
At least 3+ years of hands-on experience in IBM Mainframe System - PL/1, JCL, Mantis, SQL, z/OS, CA7, VSAM, TSO/ISPF
At least 3+ years of experience in PL/1, DB2, IMS DB
Sound knowledge of CA7, Endevor and Mantis
3+ years of experience in developing applications on above technology / tools
Nice to have knowledge of Unix/Linux OS along with minimum 3 years of experience in Unix Scripting
Should have used one of the version controls tools
Should be able to review design/code/UTPs and ensure utmost quality of deliverables
Should be able to analyse and produce PoC
Should be able to play a consultant role and track though the different phases of LLD, Code, ST and UAT of the project
Good documentation skills required so as to prepare application user manuals, support handover documents and change management and deployment management related documents
Participate in deployments and ensure smooth release of the project to production systems
Provide project integration support, performance testing support, Sanity testing & User acceptance test support
Bearing Telecom Domain knowledge would be preferred
Should perform support role and should have knowledge of Ticket management, Change management, deployment, Level 2/3 support, etc.
