Engineering Manager
- A Technical Manager who understands how to integrate multiple systems and data sets.
- They need to be able to link and mash up distinctive data sets to discover new insights.
- This often requires connecting different types of data sets in different forms as well as being able to work with potentially incomplete data sources and cleaning data sets to be able to use them.
- Head of Data Science A PhD or a Master's Quantitative Degree with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent knowledge of Python, Java/J2EE and Data Science
- Should have minimum 8+ years experience in Java J2ee technology
- Should have experience in Core Java
- Should have experience in Springs, Struts & Hibernate -
- 2yrs of Experience Experience in Apache Solr, Apache Nutch is a plus
- Significant experience building and interpreting
- Machine Learning models on real business data, e.g. logistic regression, nave Bayes, Random Forests, Boosted trees.
- Strong understanding of and experience in applying statistical techniques, e.g. regularization, hypothesis testing, analytical and empirical confidence intervals, bootstrap sampling.
- Experience in designing and conducting controlled experiments, performing statistical analysis of collected data, and presenting results to other stakeholders
- Experience on Deep Learning & Neural Networks is highly preferred.
