Job Description
- Develop/ enhance and deliver audio features, in time bound manner, using existing frameworks over Linux or Android using C++11 or C++14 standards.
- Will own responsibility of developing features, fixing issues, providing technical support to various teams for their certification activities.
- Will lead a team where multiple projects can be active at the same time, in that case you will have to provide technical guidance to team/write code / help them when then need help.
- Working on RFI/RFQ and should be able to provide efforts estimate based on requirements from customers and existing framework.
- Writing Unit test cases C++ and GTEST (Google test frameworks) .s
- Integration of your own code and various other third party solutions to git/perforce /SVN repositories.
- Technical Documentation , presentation , making UML diagrams (sequence diagrams , class diagrams , component diagrams , flow charts , technical write up , IDL )
- Working on Audio tools e.g. Audacity, Hex editors, adobe audition, wire shark , GDB , GIT , P4 , SVN , Enterprise architect , White star UML etc.
- Write Python/Shell Scripting for debugging issues / automate verification.
- Attending technical meetings with colleagues across the globe.
- Write completely configurable and reusable code using JSON , XML configuration files .
- BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical , Electronics Engineering or related.
- 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Very good understanding of Audio concepts, and should have served as developer/lead of audio in multiple programs.
- Very good understanding with Linux and Android OS .
- Very Good understanding of OOPS concepts and UML modelling.
- Very Good analytical skills and decision making capabilities.
- Strong C/C++ 11/14 programming and debugging skills.
- Good understanding in I2C, I2S, SPI, UART communication, experience in CAN will be added advantage.
- Strong understanding on Data structures and their efficient usage.
- Strong hands on multi-threaded code development.
- Good hands on in GIT and P4 (perforce) , SVN , JIRA tools .
- Should have worked on JSON parsing , and must have a good hands on experience .
- Good understanding on IPC communication, work experience in D-Bus/Binder will be an added advantage.
- Experience working on Agile development teams.
- Good hands on experience in shell scripting. Having experience in python will be added advantage.
- Good English (verbal and writing) skills.
- Should be a quick learner, and should be a good team player.
