Job Description
Oversee estimation and plan all work effort relating to SAP ABAP activities and technical architecture componentsManage technical architecture analysis, design, build, test and deploy for SAP Environments
Define and manage the development of the SAP solution and managing process with the hardware provider or the hosting provider
Act as an advisor on developmental approach for all systems integrating to SAP
Responsible to manage third-party dependencies related to SAP environment development
Responsible for system landscape design and management experience in operations and project scenarios
Involved in development and testing of the system wherever required
Responsible to handle all SAP technical changes
Provide guidance and understanding of SAP best practices on backup and recovery to key stakeholders
Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis in the SAP Environment
Ensure that the work is in accordance with established professional standards and remain abreast of emerging trends and best practices that can be incorporated into the function
Oversee preparation of procedures and reports to identify and resolve data integrity issues
Responsible to lead members of ERP ABAP towards efficient solutions
Collaborate with other sub-departments of IT to develop and test new means of business continuity
Meet regularly with the reporting manager to report the status of ongoing activities, educate/inform them of emerging risks and/or exposures (whether internal or external to the company) that should be considered as part of their day-to-day workings
Resolve any issues which may arise during the course of the different business processes
Supervise and monitor subordinates and their workings on a day-to-day basis, and supervise, coach, and develop junior members of staff within the IT ERP team
Perform any other tasks on an ad-hoc basis as required by the reporting manager
