Reliability Engineer @ Rapid Global Business

Job Description

This position would apply expertise in statistics and reliability to the field of predictive and preventive maintenance through data analysis. The candidate would conduct mathematical research and monitor trends. Influences use of mathematical tools and processes. Forecasts mathematical needs and capabilities to address business requirements. Designs, codes, tests and maintains mathematical software.
This position will also be responsible for coordinating and communicating regularly with experts in client's organizations around the world.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
o Deep mathematics background, including forecasting, algorithm development, statistical analysis, probability analysis, and heuristics analysis
o Expertise in Lifecycle data analysis, Cost modelling, Availability / Maintainability Modeling, Predictive Maintenance with strong Reliability Engineering fundamentals
o Proficient with Reliability & Statistical analysis tools like Minitab, Mathematica, JMP, Matlab, R, Tableau
o Knowledge of failure modes of mechanical, electromechanical ad electronic components
o Awareness of AS9100 or ISO9001 quality management system and ISO 17025 standard
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
o Bachelors/ Masters Degree
Typical Education & Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years related work experience, 8+ years related work experience, etc.).
