Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant Business Analyst
In this role you will be responsible to work with Customer /Business and Development team to validate the solution and own the end-to-end functionality of the application and compare those to available information technology resources.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the structure of the business, how it uses technology and what its goals are
- Create business requirements, specifications and other documents in support of projects. (BRD or FRD)
- Be the main point of contact to work with the business team for developing requirements that meet the business needs of clients
- Identify, capture and translate any operational requirements into clear Functional Use Cases/business processes
- Serve as a liaison between the business and Dev team to provide functional and technical solutions that meet user needs
- Identify problems within business, including through data modelling techniques
- Governance / partner management, Issue and Risk Management analysis
- Coordination of changes across multiple teams
- Develop an understanding of current working practices in the line
- Lead detailed analysis with line staff, wider Ops groups and Business units to formulate and consolidate business requirements/user stories
- Co-ordinate and deliver training for test users during UAT and participate in UAT.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
- Computer Science Graduate
Preferred qualifications
- CSPO or equivalent Certification
- Business Analysis Plan/ Business Cases and Business requirements specifications
- Good knowledge of Requirement Elicitation and Requirement Analysis
- Good experience working in Agile methodology (Able to write user story)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to quickly digest new information and learn new businesses and processes
- Self-motivated with a solid sense of ownership and accountability for tasks
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast pace environment along with Partner Analysis
- Very good data analysis and management skills
- Current State Analysis and Functional Requirements Specification
- Information or Data Model Documentation
- Test Plans, Test Cases, or User Acceptance Test Plans and System documentation.
