Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager Wireless Network
We are looking for someone who is proactive and agile to manage Wi-Fi infrastructure, dependent services, events and ensure to have better response time with an objective to enhance business satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Corelate monitoring trends, alerts and add value in a process to restore the incidents.
- Build strong interlocks with all related stakeholders and resolution teams to ensure reactive complaints are addressed at a faster pace.
- Incident validation and Triaging on events to support the resolver groups for faster resolution of incidents.
- Working closely with internal & external teams for fault resolution of Wi-Fi infra including the dependent or underlying services / infra.
- Fault diagnosis of Wi-Fi, end points, internet, or other environmental parameters by remote connectivity to Wi-Fi appliances to diagnose and resolve incidents using basic troubleshooting commands with an appropriate understanding of Wi-Fi technologies, Networking protocols, Firewalls, switching and routing.
- Manage Major Incidents by wearing the hat of Incident managers during critical incidents particularly handling of senior leadership issues.
- Meet all the Wi-Fi metrics and process governance ensuring complete focus on operational KPIs.
- Contribute to new innovations to automate any manual task and create more optimization in daily operations.
- Participate and contribute to Continual Improvement initiatives, performing periodic Wi-Fi audits to keep a close tab on the overall infra including underlying infra.
- Design and validate the performance, quality, and reliability of the RF link.
- Make use of monitoring, testing and diagnostic tools to assess and modify equipment.
- Design and implement WLANs and other wireless networks.
- Devise and support radio frequencies (RF) link performance, reliability, and quality.
- Collaborate with different teams to ensure the optimized performance of VoIP and other wireless telecommunication devices.
- Make use of tools to generate & monitor heat maps and assess changes based on the requirement.
- Have extensive knowledge on designing & managing Wi-Fi infra, Site Surveys & RF Surveys.
- Handhold other in-house engineers to train them on wireless technologies, besides guiding other non-technical people.
- Use tools to evaluate to test and tweak wireless products, such as routers, switches, firewalls, virtual private networks (VPNs).
- Make use of enterprise monitoring tools Extreme Networks, 7Signals, SolarWinds, Logic Monitor and Splunk.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
- Any Graduate/Preferred Engineering Graduate
- Very good expertise in designing and managing E2E Wi-Fi infrastructure and underlying technologies.
- Very good knowledge of enterprise monitoring tools such as Extreme Networks, 7Signals, SolarWinds, Logic Monitor and Splunk.
- Experience of working within a Technical role to perform escalated level analysis and fault isolation for Wi-Fi incidents.
- Good understanding of Network technologies including routing, switching, firewall.
- Experience in managing Wi-Fi incidents including performance issues.
- Able to interpret, and present, technical information in an easy-to-understand format.
- Able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Demonstrate a logical/methodical approach to fault finding
- Demonstrable history of showing a strong team spirit, a positive attitude, and willingness to help and learn new things
- The positions require a flexible, proactive approach along with a highly organized attitude
