Lead Consultant, Power BI
Function: Operations
Location:Banglore
Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant, Power BI
In this role, you would be primarily responsible for design and development of Power BI applications. Work with business people to have a real time understanding of business problem and, craft the solution which really fits into client needs.
Responsibilities
- Understand the detailed requirements and develop the custom application from detailed design specifications
- Design and build semantic models and reports in Power BI.
- Participate in the analysis and design of enterprise data warehouse using latest data warehouse methodologies and data modeling techniques
- Integrate, embed and extend Power BI using APIs (Dynamics, custom visualizations, custom apps.)
- Work with business users for continuous improvement of existing dashboards, reports and datasets.
Working with other developers. - Seek and resolve production problems with new insights
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
- B.Tech / MCA
- Strong communication
Preferred qualifications
- Strong expertise in PowerBI (Power Query, DAX, API)
- Ability to review data and develop the best visualization for that data.
- Understanding of dimensional data model, principals and industry leading practices
Experience with cloud architecture and complex data structures (Snowflake and Oracle) - Experience in asset management/financial services, a plus
- Proficient Written and verbal communication in English
- Knowledge and experience in Agile / Scrum project
- Excellent client facing skills that include conducting compelling technical briefing & demonstrations. The person should have a technical curiosity to implement new technologies and articulate the solutions to the client
