We're re-inventing the way that Adobe builds multiple-platform applications. We are creating a framework which will provide the foundation for Adobe's next generation of in-app and cloud Extensibility across mobile and desktop.
You will contribute to a cross-platform C++ 14 codebase that runs on iOS, Android, MacOS, Win32, and Win10 UWP. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in C++ development, loves to dive into the inner workings of operating systems, and is passionate about performance and developer productivity.
What you'll do

• Work as part of a dedicated, high-energy team to develop code that spans multiple Adobe products.
• Develop new features and improve existing code in C++, specialising in the iOS/MacOS/UWP/WinUI platforms.
• Maintain exceptional development standards, especially related to performance, robustness, and testing.
• Support other development teams at Adobe, build robust relationships, and effectively articulate complex ideas.
• Proactively learn new languages, libraries, and platforms as needed. Adapt quickly to changing requirements.

What you need to succeed

• Bachelors or Master's degree in Computer Science or related.
• 3+ years professional development experience.
• Deep experience in C++, object-oriented programming, debugging, and profiling
• Experience with multiple programming languages, including at least one of C++, Objective-C.
• Basic JavaScript knowledge is a must.
• Experience designing APIs and frameworks that are used by others.
• Familiar with Git and XCode.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, with experience in defining and understanding complex system architectures and design patterns.
• Excellent communication skills. Be able to articulate technical decisions and produce excellent technical documents.
• Experience creating and maintaining unit tests and continuous integration.
• Contribution to open source is a plus.
