Position Title: Simulation Software Scientist
Qualifications: Bachelor or masters degree in computer science, Electrical, Electronics, Physics or Mathematics.
Experience: 4 - 12 Years (In simulation software development)
Job Location: Noida
Job Brief:
We are looking for a Simulation Software Scientist to join our Research and Development team.
Our simulation team design, develop, and test our in-house simulation software supporting all unmanned vehicle systems. You will program the core simulation infrastructure and collaborate on building models of UAVs, peripheral systems, and environments for new mission requirements. This is a high-impact role involving engagement across the engineering groups to build high-fidelity simulations to develop cutting-edge software and hardware.
Required Skills-
Experience with Python and MATLAB.
Experience with Physics based simulators like Gazebo.
Understanding of Physics and Mathematics.
Experience in software simulation, testing and automation.
Strong skills in debugging, performance optimization and unit testing.
Strong creative and innovative problem-solving skills
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment by quickly adapting to changing needs and requirements.
Desired Skills-
Experience with writing software for and managing high performance computing environments.
Experience with WebGL visualization tools and / or computer game graphics engine development.
Development experience in C/C++ and Python.
As a Simulation Software Scientist, you will:
Contribute to all aspects of software engineering and product development producing exceptionally reliable simulation software
Develop high-performance simulation software and visualization tools for HPC
Develop prototypes to prove key design concepts and quantify technical constraints
Focus on continuous learning of new simulation engines and frameworks
Design and develop new mission scenarios and features in simulation environment
Own all aspects of software simulation development - including design, testing, automation, and documentation
Focus on continuous learning of new frameworks and technologies
