We are looking for a Mechanical Draughtsman / Engineer- Design - Posting at Hyderabad:
The person should have Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical Engineering disciplines and minimum 5-6 years of Design experience in Oil & Gas Projects (Preferably Hydrocarbons Storage Tanks should have knowledge of API 650).

Job Description:
Design & Technical Services for Mechanical works:
1. Support the integration of Engineering design and documents alongwith providing
the designs as per design criteria & manufacturing availability.
2.Preliminary designs for approval & effective development, modification of Design
Documents.
3.Generation of detailed BOQ based on the tender documents and drawings.
4.Ensure complete design & drawing deliverables as required to complete the
project.
5. Designing & Detail Engineering of Storage tanks & Pipelines in Oil & Gas.
6. Design calculation of Storage tanks & Pipelines in Oil & Gas, Water.
7. To estimate total weight (for product rate estimation) for costing purpose.
8. To estimate total required material for specific thickness & length from drawings & manage cutting layout with optimum use of material/plates.
9. Confirms system and product capabilities by designing feasibility and testing methods; testing properties.
10. Develops manufacturing processes by designing and modifying equipment for fabricating, building, assembling, and installing components.
11. Assures system and product quality by designing testing methods; testing finished- product and system capabilities confirming fabrication, assembly, and installation processes.
12. Prepares product reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
13. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
14. Thorough Knowledge in Code of API 650, & ASME SECTIONS Standards.
Site coordination for post design requirements:
1. Coordinate with site on a continuous basis for updation of design documents &
drawings.
2.Site visits for critical sectors and preparation of site related drawings based to be
issued for construction.
3 Ensure all MRs are provided based on approved client drawings. Preparation of detailed data sheets from tenders to complete procurement firmly.
4. Make changes in drawings based on client inputs from time to time and finalize
the folder for dossier submission with as - built drawings.
Estimation of Mechanical Quantities:
1. Generation of BOQ with backup calculations for tanks, piping
2. Analyzing the local rates and optimizing the mechanical costs.
3. Final costing sheet to be prepared for review.
Computer Skills: AUTO CAD/TANK
Qualification: Diploma or B Tech (Mechanical)
