Presently, we have 2 requirements for Sheet Metal and Plastic Components Business Divisions with an Automotive Component Manufacturing company.

Position 1: Manager Purchase (Automotive Plastic Components)
Qualification: BE/B Tech Mech/Production
Experience: 8 to 15yrs
Job Location: Gurgaon

Position 2: Manager - Purchase (Automotive Sheet Metal)
Qualification: BE/B Tech Mech/Production
Experience: 8 to 15yrs
Job Location: Gurgaon

Company: Automotive Component Manufacturer, part of the well-known Group with manufacturing facilities across India.

Job Description: Manage New Product/Supplier Development (For Position 1 Automotive Plastic Components Procurement, For Position 2 Automotive Sheet Metal Procurement), costing for domestic and import suppliers. Knowledge of ERP material module, MIS analysis and reporting
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
  • New supplier selection, strengthening existing vendor source and development alternate suppliers
  • Facilitating new product development initiative with key focus on quality, cost and delivery conformance to pre-set technical specifications.
  • Assisting the management in overall product pricing in development stages
  • Commercial negotiations for parts and tooling cost related to press, injection parts, fabricated parts.
  • Strategy sourcing
  • Cost reduction initiatives through alternative suppliers or VAVE ideas
  • Supplier upgradation and improvements through audits
  • Supplier capacity assessment
  • Budget planning, Capital purchases
  • Logistics planning
  • Finalize the general purchase, tooling, transport agreements
  • 5S, Kaizen initiatives
  • APQP, PPAP knowledge
  • SQA, MACE activities
  • Employees training plan and adherence
  • Quality Management System (IATF, ISO)
  • MIS/Business plan adherence
If you have relevant experience in Sourcing/Procurement of Automotive Plastic Components, then apply for the Position 1........If you have relevant experience in Sourcing/Procurement of Automotive Sheet Metal parts, then apply for Position 2.
