Inviting applications for the role of Senior Manager-Third Party Risk Governance

In this role, you will be responsible for conducting supplier risk assessments, supplier performance monitoring, periodic risk assessment of suppliers. You will need to work in compliance with the VG (Venue Group) Policy of Genpact.
The Role is critical as the success of the program safeguards the Company from various risk exposures like Info sec, regulatory, data privacy, financial, BCP, performance, etc. This role covers risk assessment of suppliers globally across all business lines. A program launched in 2016 is under the focus of the leadership of the company.
The role entails constant interaction with functions like Sourcing, Business, Legal, Risk SME s internally and in some cases the vendors externally.
Amongst the initiatives, as the program is still evolving, there would be enhancement of the role; the process needs to be automated, follow ups, controls need to be strengthened. Challenges are related to the same and may include obtaining the approval of the leaders, and getting the appropriate risks mitigated.

Responsibilities

Candidate will have responsibility for managing the VGO process for Genpact. This includes: -
Conducting Risk assessments in compliance with the VG policy & the various decisions taken by the steering committee
Coordinating with various stakeholders, Risk SME s
Implementation of new processes and technologies
Ownership of the VGO policy and responsibility for keeping it updated
Ownership of driving and monitoring the risk mitigating actions
Working with stakeholders across the business to ensure that the VGO policy is complied with and helping to resolve issues
Implementing the decisions taken in the VGO Steering Committee
Vendor Performance Management
Creating SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for new processes and adapting existing ones as modern technology is deployed.
Supporting the VGO Lead to manage the following key processes
o the VGO risk map & risk register
o training and coaching of frequent defaulters and post factor requesters
o Identification of exceptional circumstances that may require the creation of an exception process or an update to the overall VGO Policy
o Driving Periodic Risk Assessments as per the segmented approach
o Automating the process where required
o Dashboarding and scorecards
o Supplier Performance Monitoring, improvement, and category dashboards
Support all audits as required and manage the audit plan for identified high risk suppliers.
Making Supplier Performance Monitoring a COE, expanding the scope, and improvising the process
Driving category managers to segment their vendors into tiers

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualification
Graduate + risk background
Relevant years procurement, Vendor Governance Office, or Audit /Risk experience
Experience of third-party risk assessments & supplier performance management
Excellent written and verbal communication experience
Experience working with senior leaders and managing challenging situations
Preferred qualifications
Third Party Risk Experience/ Internal Audit
MS Excel/PowerPoint
One Trust/Ariba tool knowledge
