Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant Project Manager
In this role you will be responsible to work as Project Manager on a number of mission-critical global applications within the HR Technology area of Client.
The various projects within this remit are tracked and monitored at the most senior levels in the firm as well as by our external partners. The incumbent of this role will take ownership of the planning, tracking and reporting of these various projects.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables;
- Define project tasks and resource requirements;
- Develop full scale project plans;
- Assemble and coordinate project staff;
- Manage project budget;
- Manage project resource allocation;
- Track project deliverables using appropriate tools;
- Manage project risks and issues;
- Perform project reviews;
- Provide direction and support to project team;
- Present project status reports;
- Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs;
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion;
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team;
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path;
- Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
- Ongoing cooperation with business stake holders, sponsors and IT, in order to ensure that
- Dependencies between projects,
- Dependencies with operational activities
- Resource sharing and constraints,
- Provide leadership in steering projects toward defined best practices.
- Interact with and regularly report to executive project sponsors and IT management
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or related discipline/Master degree in Computer Science
Preferred qualifications
- Project management qualification (PMP) is a plus,
- Knowledge of techniques and tools
- Experience as a project manager
- Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
- Proficiency in project management software tools
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Excellent decision-making and leadership skills
