Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant- C++/DB/Unix
In this role, you would be primary responsible for development and some design applications based on C++ technology. Work with business people to have a real time understanding of business problem and, design the solution which really fits into customer needs.
Responsibilities
- To have an active role to improve and evolve our trading/reporting applications
- To take part in design and implementation of new UI applications using C#/.NET Framework
- To work with agile development techniques, including continuous integration and continuous delivery
- be able to work with traders and desk strategists to gather and understand requirements of applications and tools needed by them
- Mentoring and coaching of graduate staff.
- Seek and resolve production problems with new ideas
- Regular interaction (in person, email and over phone) with business and technical partners locally and globally for status update, requirement discussions, discussion around solution/approach etc.
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
- BE/B Tech/M Tech/MCA/BCA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills although
Preferred qualifications
- Good experience with C++ and other .NET -based technologies
- Experience in Python technology.
- Demonstrated expertise in front end web development, mainly in Typescript, Angular or strong willingness to learn it
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly (eg: REST, Rxjs)
- Ability to work with sales, traders, and desk strategists
- Good knowledge of object-oriented programming and common design patterns
- Ability to work under pressure and devise practical solutions
- Excellent communicational skills and are able to work with traders, desk strategists and other business and technology teams
- Ability to manage tasks and plan deliverables
- Willingness and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to learn the Product/Platform and associated technologies.
