Inviting applications for the role of SeniorPrinciple Consultant Data Engineering Architect
Genpact s Data Engineering is a prioritized strategic focus area. As a part of our market leading analytics organization, we have been investing in growing Data Engineering technology to describe the Augmented Analytics spectrum ranging from domain, data science, data engineering, Machine Learning and Augmented Intelligence.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Data They will have the opportunity to design and execute product development at an enterprise level from the idea stage to full production.
Primary focus will be to develop solutions for internal customers as it relates to their data needs. The Architect is responsible for designing and executing the product strategy for the data platforms supporting analytics, customer-facing Business Intelligence, Simulation and Machine Learning/Deep Learning.
Responsibilities
This is exciting because you will have the chance to:
- Define product strategy and design for the development, evolution, and transformation of our data foundations supporting BI, client reporting and Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning projects
- Working with Customers to gather requirements and designing the build
- Prioritize efforts based on thorough understanding of customer and business needs,
- Collaborate with teams to help them understand the product and flow
- Work with customers and Product owners to validate concepts and requirements
- Oversee and provides guidance for solutions to complex technical problems by challenging traditional technical assumptions.
- Identify any gaps in functionality or user experience proactively
- Monitoring data models and domain architectures and coordinating with teams
- Monitoring cost involved in infrastructure and maintaining to reduce
- Helping team in understanding Technical and functional flows
Skillset
- Data Engineering (Enterprise Information, Data Warehousing, Data Lakes, Cloud Platforms etc)
- Data Designing with multiple domain experiences
- Strong in scripting language Pyspark, Python, Pl/SQL.
- Industry domain experience in one or more of Lifesciences, Consumer products, Capital Markets, Private Equity, Capital Markets, Banking, Insurance, Industrial Manufacturing or Hospitality
- Strong technical understanding of modern data architecture. Expert in Data modelling
And data integration methods
- Demonstrated experience with Analytics implementations and/or data and reporting projects
- Understanding of analytic Cloud modernized data architecture and data modeling concepts and principles, including Cloud data lakes, warehouses and marts, dimensional modeling, star schemas, real time and batch ETL/ELT
- Prior experience in Azure cloud environment with Azure stack and AWS (ADLS, ADF and Databricks)
- Experience in designing data models as per domain specific.
- Working with team and running product build and delivering as per plan
- Experience with cloud-based analytic databases such as Snowflake
- Experience in Azure Databases like Synapse and SNOW Flake, Oracle 12g, SQL Server.
- Prior experience with SDLC and Agile working methodologies/environment is preferred
- Prior experience working with Data Scientists to put Machine Learning models into production is preferred
- Excellent communication and client facing skills
Qualifications
- Graduate / Post Graduation degree in Business, Computer Science or Quantitative Sciences
