Job Description
Consultant BizTalk Developer
In this role, you will work as BizTalk Developer to take care of development (maintenances and projects), user support and production support. This position will also take care of any escalated incidents and perform root cause analysis of any problems that may arise out of IRs and/or proactive needs for business
Responsibilities
- Understand requirements relating to change needs of business and design solution accordingly
- Testing of code changes for change function and regression
- Ensure quality standards in release
- Take care of incidents, escalate to CACIB or 3rd parties as necessary
- Create SOPs/fix logs for incidents
- Perform root cause analysis for P1/P2/P3 and P4 incidents and/or proactively based on business needs
- Work with the right teams within Genpact, CACIB or 3rd parties for the implementation of change
- Follow the required policies and procedures for the incident, problem and change management
- Ensure service performance expectations are met with service levels and quality
- Raise/escalate any service related issues and risks to track lead and/or BCI lead
- Exposure to finance domain (preferably capital markets) in the previous years
- Ensure business and technical requirements are fully understood and design and implement solutions
- Design, develop, test (unit, regression, integration), document and deploy new code
- Ensure software development best practices and enforce strong testing and documentation practices
- Participate in DevOps transformation efforts
- Ensure housekeeping, Jira and documentation is being done
- Ensure good estimation is done on stories, participate in Sprint Planning and other Agile Scrum ceremonies
- Work closely with the project manager to provide logical and detailed project plans and estimates
Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum qualifications
- BE/B Tech/M Tech/MCA/BCA
- Graduate or post graduate in Engineering or Technology with Computers or IT stream
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred qualifications
- Hands-on experience with BizTalk Server 2006 R2/2009/2010/2013/2016,2020.
- Solid knowledge and experience in .Net Framework 2.0/3.5, SQL, XML, WCF, Microsoft SQL Server 2014, 2016,2020.
- Experience with XML Schemas, Biztalk Maps, orchestrations and BRE.
- Experience in designing and implementing BizTalk solutions based on messaging and orchestration patterns.
- Experience with SOAP, HTTP, File, FTP,SFTP, POP3, SMTP, WCF Adapters.
- Experience in BizTalk deployment on clustered environment.
- Should have knowledge of different Enterprise application integration patterns.
- Must have hands-on SQL server creating sps, tables joins, triggers , cursors
- Must have hands on creating WCF services
- Must have good trouble shooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong desire to understand functional aspects of applications.
- High energy, results driven person with strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to work under minimal supervision.
- Configuration Management, Build and Deployment.
- Ability to work directly with business clients to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Working experience in applications related to accounting & financial reporting. Credit risk is a plus.
- Knowledge of Control-M or other scheduling application
- Capital Markets Domain knowledge is preferred
- Knowledge of ITIL, integration across IPC (Incident, Problem & Change Management)
- Knowledge of SPLC and Agile Life cycle of project
- Experience on tools like JIRA, Service Now etc.
