Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
- An Android app developer must be well-versed with Java programming language.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
- Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices
- Having knowledge about offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
- Knowledge of the open-source Android ecosystem and the libraries available for common tasks.
. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Understanding of Google's Android design principles and interface guidelines.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Bitbucket.
- Familiarity with continuous integration.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- To maintain the code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Strong understanding of Android Activity life cycle, Services, Broadcast, Content Provider, SQLite DB, Thread handling etc.
- Work with the development team consisting of architects, UI designers, product managers, testers to deliver high-quality mobile product & services
- Develop, test, and rollout optimized UIs for different versions/device
- Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Build for multi-device i.e mobile website along with the mobile app.
- Design, build and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable Java code
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application.
- Identify the bugs, correct bottlenecks, and fix bugs
- Design and build iOS, and Android mobile applications
- Excellent knowledge in core Java
- Basic Knowledge in Java and oops concepts
- Good Knowledge of Android SDK's and Android Studio
- Very good experience with Objective-C, Swift, and iOS SDK
- Apple iOS development using ObjectiveC,Swift,Xcode 7/8, Instruments.
- Experience in aspects of the mobile application lifecycle, including application development structure, debugging, performance, security and deployment.
- Should have strong knowledge on evaluating designs, determining appropriate architectures,laying styling controls, creating custom controls, wiring up interactions, tying client application into various back-end technologies, and finding and squashing bugs.
- Proficient with UI kit framework & required elements.
- A deep familiarity with Objective-C, Swiftand Cocoa Touch
- Experience working with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core
Graphics, Core Location and Core Text.
- Exposure in data storage techniques including Core Data,Various frameworks of iOS GPS,FileSystem API, and SQLite Database Handling etc.
- The project require source code management and bug tracking like SVN, Git, BitBucket.
- Need to be familiar with unit and system testing, especially in an enterprise connected mobile environment.
