Job Description:
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Taking leadership in the delivery of the cloud/big data solutions platform by.
- Guide the team to deliver top-quality solution design and execution and providing support in defining the scope and sizing of work.
- Utilize Big Data technologies to design, develop, and evolve scalable and fault-tolerant distributed components.
- Responsible for translating business requirements into big data technology solutions
- Manage and groom high caliber Engineering team towards delivery and organization goals.
- Manage customer stakeholders for alignment on project delivery, status reporting and cadence
- Guide team towards building frameworks, industry best practices, maintain high quality coding and delivery
Skills Preferred:
- 12-15+ years of overall IT experience with Cloud/ Big Data, Analytics, Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence.
- At least 5 7 years of experience in leading a Data Engineering & Analytics project delivery following Agile Methodologies
- Technical Manager with hands on experience in the space of Cloud/ Big Data Solutions development.
- Having worked in AWS Cloud Data infrastructure environment is highly preferred.
- Good working knowledge of tools in the Cloud Ecosystem and Apache Big Data ecosystem like Databricks, Spark, Hive, HBase, Sqoop, Impala, Kafka, Flume, Oozie, MapReduce, etc.
- Strong Engineering Management experience in Data domain.
- Strong people management skills. Ability to guide, groom team members towards organization goals.

- Ability to lead initiatives and people toward common goals
- Excellent oral and written communication, presentation, and analytical skills
- Strong Analytical and problem solving skills
- Working Knowledge of Data and Cloud Engineering Technical space of work
- Preparation of Milestone plan and drive the team delivery aligned with the same.
- Bring in the alignment on Strategic goals of the Program
- Collaborate with key stakeholders/product owners/practitioners to drive the program goals
- Proficiency with Agile software development management methodologies
- Strong understanding of project management principles
- Rapidly adapt and respond to changes and ability to effectively prioritize
- Extensive experience leading, coordinating, and organizing remote teams in a collaborative environment
